  • We would really like to encourage our friends to stay at El Rey Court. This will be “Wedding Weekend HQ” for Frankie and Drew.

We secured another room block at the Eldorado Hotel & Spa and we think this would be a great option for our family guests. There will be transportation provided to and from the El Rey Court on Saturday.

  • Drew would recommend walking, but you’ll probably have to fly…

The closest airport is Santa Fe Regional Airport (SAF) which is about a 20-minute drive to/from Santa Fe Plaza. The Santa Fe airport is small but mighty (2 gates!). If this option works best for you, go for it!

You might find more flight options flying in to Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) which is about a 1-hour drive to/from Santa Fe Plaza. We suggest that our guests flying into Albuquerque rent a car to make the drive.

  • If you are able to fly into Santa Fe you may be able to get away with just using rideshare apps to get around in Santa Fe. If you are flying into ABQ it is probably best to rent a car.

Some things are walkable in Santa Fe but if you would like to explore beyond the downtown areas - which if you have the time we suggest you do! - then a car rental will be best.

Rideshare apps exist in Santa Fe and Albuquerque but there are probably about 11 drivers at any given time and maybe not all available. Ride wait times are on average 10 minuets. Small town charm!

  • We love your little ones! However, due to capacity limitations this will be an adults only event.

Please contact Frankie with any follow up questions or sitter recommendations.

  • New Mexico is home for us! Frankie’s grandma, Gilda, is from Santa Fe and Frankie grew up making trips here and created many fond memories. She always knew she would make her way back to New Mexico. Drew’s parents, Janet and Norman, moved to Santa Fe in 2018. Drew spent part of 2020 sheltering/living in Santa Fe and fell in love with the landscape and air.

In 2024 Frankie and Drew decided to move to New Mexico and this house is feeling like a home!

We cant wait to share this special place with you!

  • We picked our September date for various sentimental reasons but also for its ideal weather! fingers crossed

The days should be mid to high 70s and the nights in the 60s.

Remember, Santa Fe is located at 7,000 feet! Thats higher elevation than Denver! The sun will feel more intense - Drink lots of water!
